Dear Members
Our sessions at the BOA Congress 2025 in Liverpool are now in place, and we look forward to seeing you there.
The sessions will take place on Wednesday 17th September. We start with a comprehensive look at lower limb rotational alignment in a collaborative session with BASK and BOFAS led by Tony Andrade. This is followed by the John Charnley lecture, delivered this year by past BHS President Professor John Timperley. Following coffee, we host two sessions focussed on patient optimisation, and engaging with the BOA theme of Preventing harm, and Transforming Lives. The first of these relates to care of patients with fragility fractures led by Dan Thomas and James Fountain, followed by a look at Pre-Operative Optimisation in Elective Hip Replacement chaired by Mike Reed.
Summaries for the sessions can be found below, please do join us in what promise to be highly educational discussions in which we can all learn something new for our practice. Huge thanks to the chairs and speakers for providing us with a great afternoon of education.
Best Wishes,
Tim Petheram
