As a post CCT arthroplasty Fellow during this one year you will get an extensive exposure for un-cemented as well as cemented primary as well as revision arthroplasty both simple and complex. You will also be involved in periprosthetic fracture fixation, revision for periprosthetic fractures, infection for arthroplasty as well as metastatic cancer involving femur and pelvis. I do one week on-call during eight weeks cycle therefore you will also have an extensive involvement for complex trauma. You will have done average 80 to 120 arthroplasty both hip as well as knee by the end of the year on your own. The current fellow has done more than 130 joints as well as 12/15 revision. In early stage we will be working together, but once I find you are confident to do arthroplasty on your own, you will get your own independent theatre list. You will also be involved in research as well as audit and teaching resident doctors.
