Further details:
An excellent opportunity for a post CCT fellow to learn and apply principles of hip replacement as well as revision hip replacement. Usually they carry out 40 to 50 primary hip replacement during a year including parallel list with me. They also carry out simple revision surgery as well. They get an opportunity to involve themselves for MDT, clinical Governance as well as metastatic cancer surgery, peri prosthetic fracture and infection cases as I am a lead for all these pathologies in the department. We have numerous ongoing projects that are essential part of fellowship.
