The UK Hip Physiotherapy Network was set up in 2021 by Lucie Gosling – Consultant Physiotherapist at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham, Alison Smeatham – Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner at The Royal Devonshire and Exeter Hospital and Katie Monnington – Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore to provide peer support for specialist Physiotherapists working in recognised hip centres, to translate research, guidance and establish collaborative opportunities.
