• Experience of serving as a mentor for Association of Surgeons in Training (ASiT) since 2013.
• Member of the founding Committee of the ASiT national mentoring scheme.
• Attendance of several Coaching and Mentoring courses organised by The Royal College of Physicians, ASiT, Institute of Leadership and Management and BHS
• Founder and Chair of CollabORTHO, a national undergraduate teaching and mentoring collaboration.
• Experience of studying and working in different regions (Imperial College London, NE Thames London for foundation training, Yorkshire & The Humber for core surgical training, Kent Surrey and Sussex for Higher Specialty Training, Post CCT fellowship training in Wrightington).
• Recipient of “Trainee Teacher of the Year” and “Teaching Excellence Award” (Deanery awards, 2013 & 2017). Nominated for ASiT “Silver Suture” award in recognition for excellence in surgical training in 2023.
