Profile statement

I would actively encourage women to fulfil their wish of becoming consultant surgeons whilst also having a full family life. I have worked full time throughout my career whilst having 2 young daughters demanding my attention! Whilst challenging, nothing is insurmountable and there is always a way. I am now a consultant of 9 years’ experience and have devised ways over the years of juggling a rewarding career with being a mum.
