Profile statement
I am currently working as the Thackray Hip Fellow in Wrightington, working for Prof Tim Board and Mr Anil Gambhir. I have been appointed as a Consultant in hip and knee arthroplasty, and Young Adult Hip surgery in Oswestry. In 2024 I completed the British Hip Society / American Hip Society travelling fellowship. I completed my registrar training in the West Midlands with Fellowships in Young Adult Hip surgery at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital. Previously in my training I completed a PhD 'The Epidemiology of Femoroacetabular Impingement Syndrome' at Warwick University.
Outside of work I am married to Nicola an anaesthetic registrar and we have 2 children; managing life as a fellow living away from the family is challenging! In my free time I enjoy watching cricket and rugby, and I hold a private pilots license.
I would be delighted to act as a mentor for any training grades or medical students.
