President’s Monthly Update – November 2021

Welcome to the November News Update. It was my great pleasure to host the first BHS Hip Forum for senior trainees, held in Sheffield last week. We welcomed 21 StRs and Fellows nominated by their Training Programme Directors for one and a half days of presentations, case discussions and debate covering all aspects of hip surgery. Thanks should go to Henry Wynn-Jones and Liz Newton for organising the meeting and we are grateful for the support of the John Charnley Trust. Initial feedback was very positive and the event will be held next year in Cambridge, hosted by President Elect, Vikas Khanduja.
