Profile statement
I am a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon at Hull University Teaching Hospitals. My specialist interests are pelvic and acetabular reconstruction, hip arthroplasty and major trauma. I am an honorary clinical lecturer at Hull York Medical School. I am the major trauma governance lead for the Hull major trauma centre. I went to Bristol Medical school, did basic surgical training in Oxford and my registrar training on the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore rotation. I was on the integrated academic training rotation and did an MSc in surgical science and a PhD in bioengineering at UCL. I was awarded a MRC clinical research fellowship for my PhD. I did post CCT fellowships in revision and complex lower limb arthroplasty at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Australia as well as pelvic reconstruction and complex trauma at Cambridge University Hospitals. I can provide mentorship via zoom, phone or in person depending on location.
