The post is intended for a surgeon who already has a specialist interest in hip & knee arthroplasty surgery. The intention is to provide the fellow with high volume revision arthroplasty experience.
Training will involve working with 3 consultants who specialise in complex primary and revision hip & knee arthroplasty techniques, as well as having an active role in our Bone Infection Group. It is a busy clinical based fellowship with additional opportunities for research and teaching in conjunction with the Academic Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Warwick.
The principal clinical supervisors are Mr Pedro Foguet, Professor Richard King and Mr Richard Westerman; the Fellow will also be expected to join other members of the Lower Limb Arthroplasty Team in theatre.
